Menu Boards

Menu boards allow you to manage your digital menu boards for both daily and static menus. You can update prices, items and promotions across all of your locations.

You can access the Menu Boards from the Integrations menu, as shown below:

From here you can switch between:

• Menu board dashboard
• Meal Templates management menu
• Custom pictogram management menu

Allows you to view and edit your daily and static menu boards.

1. Switch between Menu board dashboard (picture above), Meal Templates management and Custom pictogram management menus.

2. To create a Daily menu (a menu that changes every day based on a calendar), you first need to “Create a location” — think of this as a physical store where the daily menu will be available.

3. You can manage existing locations and their daily menus from here. If you already created a location, select one from the list.

• Click on the location name or the calendar icon to open the Calendar view.
• Click on the Pencil icon or the Bin icon to either edit location settings or to delete it.

4. To create a Static menu (a menu that doesn't change frequently, such as drinks, desserts, or permanent menu items), click on the “Create Static Menu Board” button.

If you already created a Static menu, select one from the list.

• Click on the Pencil icon to start editing the Static menu.
• Click on the Bin icon to delete it.

5. Click on the “?” button to get more information about the difference between Daily and Static menus.

Allows you to edit and delete meal templates. You can create new meal templates from the Menu boards themselves.

1. Filter meals by Name or Spaces (All, All Spaces or Space-specific).
2. Shows basic Meal data (name, price, creation date, assigned space).
3. Click on the Pencil icon to edit the templated meal or on the Bin icon to delete it. In a new menu Click on “Delete” again to confirm.
4. Use the arrows to switch between different pages.
   

Allows you to create and manage pictograms.
Pictograms are small icons, that you can add near pictures of your meals to signify, for example, vegetarian dishes, allergens or meat type.

1. Click on "New Pictogram" to create a new pictogram.
2. Shows basic Pictogram data (name, API key (if applicable), scope (assigned to space).
3. Click on the Pencil icon to edit the templated pictogram or on the Bin icon to delete it. In a new menu Click on “Delete” again to confirm.

1. Choose a name (label) for your pictogram.
2. Insert API key to enable external integrations (optional).
3. Choose whether your pictogram will be used in the current space only or in all of your spaces.
4. Image management menu: Add an image for the pictogram by clicking on “Add” button near it or upload a new one using the “Upload media” button.
5. Use these buttons to:
   • Save: to remove the pictogram and exit the editing window.
   • Delete: to remove your pictogram. Confirm deletion by clicking on “Delete” again.
