ViewSonic Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) set up

1. Connect the display to the internet

To set up your screen using ZTP, make sure the screen is connected to the Internet.

2. Start ZTP process in ScreenManager application

Log into your ScreenManager account.

Then go to the Screens1 section and click on the New Screen2 button.

In a new window choose ViewSonic Display3.

And then choose Use Zero-Touch Provisioning.

3. Obtain and input provisioning code and set up ScreenManager app

You will be asked to input a provisioning code.

  1. Navigate to the ViewSonic Welcome menu and choose Manager app.

2. Input the code into the ScreenManager application and the ZTP set up will start. It may take 5-10 minutes. Once the process is finished you will see a confirmation message on both your TV and the ScreenManager app.

3. Return to the Welcome menu. A ScreenManager application icon should appear there (it is automatically installed during the ZTP setup). Don' launch it yet.

Important: If ScreenManager app did not install automatically, you should perform a factory reset and re-start the process.

4. From the Welcome menu go to Settings > Device1 > Signage Display2 > Source setting3 > Custom Apps4 and click on Select App5.

5. Return to the Welcome menu. Click on the ScreenManager application icon to launch it.

6. After the app starts, it will display a QR code and a Device location notification.

Choose While using the app to see the pairing code on the TV.

4. Pair the Device with your Account

Enter the pairing code1 you see on your TV and click Pair screen2.

5. Set up your screen

Name your screen and choose its rotation

That's it! You are ready to start presenting content on your screen.

6. Present Content on the Display

With your device paired and ready to go, you can start presenting your content.

Navigate to Media page and upload images, videos or PDF presentations. To create more complex visuals or use third-party integrations such as Instagram or RSS feed, navigate to Scenes.

Publish content to the paired displays with a single click.
