User roles

This page gives you an overview of user roles and what level of permissions do they have. You can also create custom user roles from this menu.

User roles

1. Create new user roles to have a role with custom defined permissions

After clicking “Create user” in the new window choose:

a. A name for the new user,

b. Add new user description,

c. Choose permissions from the presented options. Scroll down to see more permission settings.

Click on the “Save” button at the bottom of the list to finish new user creation. Or “Cancel” to exit the menu and delete user creation progress.

You can always delete custom user roles by clicking on the “Delete” button near them.

2. Existing user role descriptions

Scroll down to see different user roles and what permissions do they have. Active permissions are marked green.

Active permissions

Restricted permissions are marked red.

Inactive permissions

Here is the general overview of default user permissions:

  • Account Administrator - can manage both account and billing;
  • Content & Device Manager - can manage both content and devices;
  • Content Manager - can manage content only;
  • Device Manager - can manage devices only;
  • Content Viewer - can only view content;
