Editing and creating Tags

Tags are labels for your media files and devices.

Device (Screens) tags allow you to group your screens to help with device management and identification. They are best used to manage a large number of screens within one Space.

Content (Media, Playlist and Scenes) tags help you automatically manage content updates, media campaigns and tag based playlists. They are best used to manage a large amount of screens in different Spaces.

After you enter the Tags section, you will see a Tags Dashboard. From here you can:

1 Switch between Device tags, Content tags or All tags.

2 View existing tags and change their settings.

3 Click on the Create Tag to start creating a tag.

4 Click on the name of a tag to view usage. Inside of it you can:

  • 1 See the tag's type (Device or Content) and Edit menu (see below).
  • 2 A list of all Spaces, where this tag is used, including individual screens, that are marked with this tag.
  • 3 A list of Spaces, that have access to this tag, but that never used it yet.

Click on one of the symbols to the right of your tags.

1 Share icon to open and manage Share & access settings.

2 Pencil icon to Edit it. Change the name and color of your tag and click Save.

3 Bin icon to Delete the tag.

How to create a tag?

Create tag

Click on Create Tag and a new window will open.

Choose the Tag type: Device tag or Content tag1 (cannot be changed later).

Choose a name2 and a color3 for your tag and click Create.
