How to create a video wall/sync wall?

What is a Sync/Video Wall?

Sync Wall is a named group of screens that always play precisely together, allowing you to play content across multiple screens at exactly the same time: when one changes content, they all change.

This allows you to use the screens either as identical synchronized playback, or as a single large image/video spread across a grid of screens (a "video wall").

If you give a wall a layout that describes how the screens are physically arranged (for example, two side-by-side, or a 2×2 grid), then it will turn the group into a video wall, where each screen shows a different region of the same content.

How to create a video/sync wall?

  1. On the main Screens Dashboard, click on the arrow next to the New screen button and then Create sync wall.

2. Choose the screens to include in your sync wall by clicking on them. Screens already assigned to another wall will be hidden.
Important: All screens must online and on the same network to be able to reach each other.

3. Optionally: Optionally pick a layout and drag each of your screens into a zone of that layout. Set up canvas size, aspect ratio and resolution. You can also use Quick layouts for faster setup.

4. Give your sync wall a name and click Create.

5. Newly created sync walls will appear on the Screens dashboard1. Click on Configure sync wall2 to change it's settings.

This looks intimidating. Any advice on how to tackle this?
